Germany electricity generation by fuel and load
Germany electricity generation by fuel: ENTSO-E hourly observations and up to a year of daily means, with demand, dates, units and source coverage.
About these data and related views
Compare Germany's recorded electricity generation by fuel with electricity demand. Historical charts and tables request ENTSO-E observations for the selected dates. The infrastructure map is a separate dated inventory: a plant's nameplate capacity is not its output.
Periods through 14 days show hourly observations; 30, 90 and 365 days show daily means. Charts use GW and tables use MW. A daily mean measures average power, not energy produced during the day. Check the displayed dates and coverage before comparing fuels or exporting a table; incomplete source records remain blank.
- Source
- ENTSO-E generation by production type (16.1.B) and total load (6.1.A)
- Units
- MW in tables; GW in charts; daily means for longer periods
- Time coverage
- Selected UTC period, up to 365 days; source completeness varies
